Influence your members to vote
Need to reach your members for critical votes affecting your mission? Like candidates for office, you need to solve the problem of who to reach, whether you’re just mailing or canvassing, texting, and calling as well. While you could reach out to everyone, targeting likely voters is the most cost effective.
VoterProb® helps you put a fine point on building these lists. For instance, you can target different groups of voters based on their probability of voting:
- Super voters (90+% chance of voting): You know they’ll vote. Make sure your issue is front and center.
- Leaning likely (70% – 89%): These folks need a little bit more encouragement to cast their vote. Additional mailings and a text reminder on EDay may do the trick.
- Lackadaisical (50% – 69%): When you’ve exhausted your Likely and Super voters, then spend any remaining time and money here. This group takes a lot more effort to show up and cast a vote.
Define your membership voting behavior
Merging VoterProb® scores with your membership data helps you figure out which members you need to target in order to get the voting bloc effect you’re looking for. Take a look at this example membership population divided into geographic groups:

For each of these groups, you can see how far down in the probabilities you need (or want) to go for maximum mission impact.
VoterProb® is also perfect for building mailing lists, and helps you confidently mail to those who fit your budget. Make your mailing spend count by not wasting resources on dedicated non-voters.
Have extra time and resources? Confidently go after non-voters, knowing you’ve got a lot of work to do.
